Be More Alluring

THAN AN ANGEL

"When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose."

Genesis 6:1- 2 (NIV)

In the Old Testament, “sons of God” refers to angels. Therefore, this verse says that the angels in heaven looked at women on earth and saw they were beautiful. Not only were they beautiful, they were so beautiful that the angels left heaven to chose women for their wives. So you don't have to work at being more alluring than an angel because you already are more alluring.

What you need to do is accept this fact and believe it at the very depths of your being. When God created man and woman in His image He said that it was good (Genesis 1:27-31). How can you now stand in front of the mirror and criticize what God created? Yet so many women do this on a daily basis. They look at themselves and pick themselves apart from their straight or curly hair to their large or small nose and thin or full lips. However God created you, He did an amazing job and you are beautiful. In the Song of Songs the woman is the beautiful one.

“My beloved spoke and said to me,

“Arise, my darling,

my beautiful one, come with me.”

Song of Songs 2:10 (NIV)

So when you look in the mirror speak to yourself in a similar manner and speak life to yourself. Praise God and give thanks because you are wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do"

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

When you are confident in the creature you are, continue to build your inner self and the beauty you create inside will radiate out (1 Peter 3:3-4) The passage of time will not be a concern nor it’s affects on your outer appearance because your spirit is being renewed every day (2 Corinthians 4:16). Be confident in woman God created and know that you are more alluring than an angel.

So there you have it, three simple steps to being more alluring than an angel. First know God, your creator. Then confess the good work He created when He created you. Finally continue to build your spirit and your beauty will be unaffected by time.
